The Ashbourne House Hotel dates back to 1850 where it was once a coach stop. In 1920, the local schoolmaster took it over and lived in the house till the late 1950's. When he passed away, it was sold on to a family who decided to turn it into a small country hotel. From the 1970's through to today, it has gone through the hands of various individuals and families, each adding more and more character to the original house.

Today, the Smyth family own the hotel and after a year of intense renovations, the hotel recently opened its doors. It now boasts 45 luxurious bedrooms and conference/banqueting facilities for up to 700 delegates.

The Hotels luxurious bedrooms have been designed and furnished to a very high standard, to ensure that your stay with us will be truly unique. The Hotels Lounge Bar provides a perfect retreat to relax or for the more energetic Ned Smiths traditional themed bar hosts live music every weekend.
